I’ve bought waaaay too much shit on Amazon…

I have three orders coming in from different places, and that’s not even everything I ordered; I still have another order waiting to ship! But we’re creeping closer and closer.

To be honest, I was worried that most of the equipment would be out-of-stock. In the days leading up to the order being placed, bits and pieces were disappearing from my Amazon cart due to supply issues. That, of course, meant more hours of research to make sure whatever replacement I could get was suitable. About the only things that stayed constant were the booms for the mics and the headphone microamp. Everything else was replaced with either the same product from another vendor (which usually meant an increase in cost) or an equivalent product from another manufacturer. If you were to look at the order list, you would think I had a hard-on for Behringer brand stuff. I assure you that is not the case. It’s just what I could get.

So much Behringer

Now I just get to play the waiting-and-tracking game. This is always a fun time. On the plus side, two of the three packages due to arrive today (as of the writing of this post, it’s 1:51am on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016), so that’s somewhat reassuring, right along with the fact that USPS is delivering them. Say what you want about them, but they have a better track record for me personally than any of the other shipping services available, and they also have access to the secured door downstairs.

I now await with bated breath. I’ll keep you guys updated.
